Here we go again: Vrasubatlat, one of the labels who impressed us the most during 2015, is back. This sixth offering of filth is shaped by Utzalu, the sort of minimalistic offshoot of Urzeit whose Emile Zola-inspired punkish black metal had already kicked our heads in last year on the B-side of the Mróz / Utzalu split. This time around Zola influence is overtly manifest, as the new EP is titled after “Germinal”, part of the “Les Rougon-Macquart” series and perhaps the author’s most known piece.

The four tracks forming “Germinal” can be streamed above, while the cassette edition can be acquired through this link. Move quickly though, as the 100 copies made are not likely to last long.
