Deal with it, the first friday of March is owned by Relapse. Not only did they just release the highly anticipated new Wolvserpent record, they’re also bringing the world the first Inverloch full-length, “Distance | Collapsed”. The Australian quintet featuring disEMBOWELMENT‘s Paul Mazziotta on drums and Matthew Skarajew on guitars is the next step in a story started by d.USK back in 2011, a collective then created to play classic disEMBOWELMENT songs live. As it turned out, the drive to harm eardrums by way of death/doom was still pretty much alive in those dudes and we got Inverloch out of it. After a promising debut EP “Dusk | Subside” back in 2012, here’s “Distance | Collapsed” four years later:

Released today by Relapse Records, “Distance | Collapsed” is available in digital, vinyl (silver/gold or black) and cd formats. Recall Inverloch will play Roadburn on Thursday April 14 and SWR Barroselas Metalfest on Saturday April 23.
