Following a fantastic debut in 2015 and a collection of jaw dropping live performances, Tau Cross went back to the writing board. The result is tentatively titled “A Pillar Of Fire” and, speaking about it to Relapse, vocalist Rob Miller announced the addition of James Adams, who also mixed the album, as a keyboard player.
He further unveiled some special collaborations taking place on the upcoming record, saying they “had contributions from Themis for some of the ambient sounds on the album, a Hurdy Gurdy from Tanner Anderson and even bagpipes from 16-year-old Scottish virtuoso Brighde Chaimbeul, so there are some interesting textures, with an emphasis on the lyrical content”.
“A Pillar Of Fire” is set for release by Relapse Records in the summer of 2017.
