I wish I could give a fuck about Scott Conner leaving black metal behind him, but I’m just too used to it anyways already. As a matter of fact, I’ve been enjoying his work under the moniker Nocturnal Poisoning, his post-BM folk incarnation, reflecting about it would fit what one could call “the second half of Xasthur“. Maybe he is just releasing this album, properly called “Subject To Change”, through his old identity to have a bigger reach among the metal community, but that’s pointless to think about when the music is really good, as it happens to be the case. “Parole Fearing” is online and the record is actually being dispatched as well, you can find more info about it on NP’s Facebook.
