Three years have gone by since the release of the mighty “Odori Sepulcrorum”, the record which cemented Grave Miasma as one of the greatest active practitioners of black/death metal, plunging the typical aggression of the genre into pitch black and thick atmospheres. Profound Lore announced today the impending release of its successor, a mini album by the name of “Endless Pilgrimage”. It’s third track, “Purgative Circumvolution”, is already available for stream and can be listened to below.

Consisting of five tracks and clocking around 35 minutes, “Endless Pilgrimage” is set to be released by Profound Lore on May 6. The artwork displayed above on the stream is authored by Costin Chioreanu, while recording, mixing, and mastering were done Orgone Studios by Jaime Gomez Arellano (drummer in Septic Tank among others and with an assortment of recording/mixing/mastering/production credits in records such as Altar Of Plagues‘ “Teethed Glory And Injury”, Cathedral‘s “Last Spire”, Ulver‘s “Messe I.X-VI.X” and the absolutely fucking brilliant “World Metal. Kosmopolis Sud” by Solefald just to name a few). For fans of Grave Miasma‘s previous incarnation as Goat Molestör, it’s worth noting that the track “Glorification Of The Impure” from their 2003 demo “Ancient Barbaric Assault” has been re-recorded and will feature in “Endless Pilgrimage”.
