Play: Ash Borer – “The Irrepassable Gate”

Ash Borer are finally back, after three years of silence since the “Bloodlands” EP. Silence as Ash Borer, that is, as K was busy with Predatory Light and Vanum, while M and R unleashed ten pieces of amazing nastiness via Vrasubatlat, as well as some Urzeit material. Busy dudes. Onto the new record of the authors of “Cold Of Ages”, it’s titled “The Irrepassable Gate” and the first same titled track can be heard below.

Produced by Randall Dunn and featuring artwork by Glyn Smyth of Stag & Serpent, “The Irrepassable Gate” is set for release on December 2 on CD and digital formats via Profound Lore. The vinyl edition will take slightly longer and is currently set to be unveiled somewhere in early 2017.
