You got that Wu-Tang reference absolutely right, sir, I tip my hat to you. Now, there’s a reason why I’m penning down this news and that is related to Black Shape Of Nexus. The ungorgeous German act, known in the underground for its proper ability to blend sludge and drone in just one dish of vicious venom, will release on March 18 through Exile On Mainstream the career’s fourth album. Call it “Carrier”, a freight train of sludge-drone-doom to treat you like the sack of meat that you are. You’re going to rot, sooner or later, but with “Carrier” it will probably start earlier than one’s actually planning. DEAL WITH IT.

«”Carrier” is the result of a band being in a constant state of deterioration. Doing a record is a very unpleasant and harmful process for us. Creating Negative Black already was a nightmare, but with “Carrier” the understanding of the term nightmare needs to be expanded. This is not being said to play the ‘tension and dissent create great art’ card. This album is not art. This album is not musicianship. This album is simply the album that we were able to do under the current circumstances while sometimes asking ourselves if a split-up would not be the better option.»

Says vocalist Malte Seidel.
