One of our favourite Belgium bands is set to return to full-lengths next year. Sometime during the spring of 2016 there will be a new Alkerdeel album, the first since 2012’s “Morinde” (which, like the rest of their discography can be streamed and purchased through their bandcamp page).

The as-of-yet untitled album has been recorded at Boma Studio where it will be mixed during the next month, whereas mastering will come at the hands of Kvålsonic Tom. Unlike the record itself, its three songs already have known titles (see here) and will be played live in their only upcoming show, Lugubrum‘s release party with Urfaust and A Thousand Sufferings joining as well. As for Alkerdeel, they say they’d like to play live more often in 2016 than in this current year. Last year they played a show with the Church Of Ra in Nijmegen and were far and away the best band of the evening, so here’s hoping they do indeed play more often and more people get to see what we saw then.
